Bruce West started with the company, Berger Accounting, in 2003. In 2009, he became the sole owner. Prior to coming to Berger Accounting, Bruce worked at the Illinois Agricultural Auditing Association (IAAA) for 5 years. His main concentration at IAAA was in Agricultural Auditing & their Business Tax Returns; he also participated in several work exchanges with Ernst & Young.

To help serve his clients Bruce is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, and is proficient in the Microsoft Office family of programs. These tools help him set up businesses and keep them running smoothly.

Bruce is a native of Central Illinois, growing up in Toulon, Illinois. He received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Western Illinois University. He currently resides in Stark County, Illinois with his wife, Crystal, and their two children, Lauren and Adam. Bruce has been a member of the South-West Kiwanis Club since 2010 and enjoys hunting, fishing and coaching his kids in various sports.

Jon Berger originally founded Berger Accounting & Tax Service in 1990. Now the office manager in our Pekin office, a town in which he, his wife Stefani, and two daughters Megan & Abigail have lived since 1986.

Proficent in quickbooks, Jon has practiced public accounting and prepared small business, personal and corporate tax returns since 1982.  Jon is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.

During his off time, Jon enjoys his family, golf, fishing and the St. Louis Cardinals. He is also the Treasurer of the Maxwell Road Church of God in Peoria.

Herb Norris is a tax preparer who helps the everyday taxpayer to file their annual income tax return with the client’s best interest in mind. Maximizing the legal allowable deductions and keeping abreast of the rapidly changing tax laws are just a couple of ways Herb tries to help the taxpayer.

Herb Norris has been working for Berger Accounting & Tax Service Inc. since 2008. Herb also does bookkeeping and payroll services for small businesses.

Herb Norris grew up in central Illinois and has lived here most of his life. He is happily married to Debbie, his wife of 29 years and has 2 daughters, Bethany and Samantha, both in college.

Herb enjoys coaching girls softball in his free time.
